It wasn't APPRECIATED at all. He's never been friendly or nice from 1st interaction. This isn't OPEN sourced growing logs and breeding projects as started. Its become a groupthink collectivist community that picks who complies than individuals of free minds. Forget about building a reputation if you are a free thinker on here, its a hostile environment. That's disturbing to be around and you can see speaking your mind isn't welcome to do. Only compliance and agreement puts you in the clique here. I was told privately by other members feeling they didn't fit in, and you won't get traction once the clique sees you aren't falling in line with how they think. Honestly how much more proof do you need of the sites radical ideological operation when he says it plainly in his words ? When a radical tells you who they are, believe them.
Its unfortunately decayed further, now if the thread isn't your OP you're only allowed 3 consecutive posts until someone replies. Breeder threads get started and others post the grow of the genetics there, but now building those compendiums/FAQ is harder. Somome commented saying other threads gets locked up and eventually abandoned before they deleted it. They deleted in fear of being seen confirming functionality is broken.
I tried to just have a low key non commercial grower alternate and stick to growing and updating every week or two. Nope I wasn't allowed to do even that, and bringing this issue up ruffled feathers, but its NOT a forum, its now a commercialized paywall social media chat platform that prioritizes engagement over long form technical and botanical knowledge shared.
The FORUM it started as and intended to stay as in the late 90s is NO MORE.
