COPA

  • Before I was so unceremoniously (there was no ceremony) booted off the last forum I was on, I was asked to test run some "Salmon Creek Big Bud" beans from COPA Genetics up in Maine. I chose to test the SCBB crossed with what COPA called "Vintage White Widow".

I chose this cross to test because I'm currently working with a "White Widow" (Sharon cut) from 2002. I plan on back crossing to the sharon after I find my keeper. The sharon will be reversed onto the SCBB x VWW. I'm looking to keep the structure of the scbb and incorporate the potency of the Sharon. These will be Fem seeds when I'm finished, and available for purchase either through Dankmaster's Old School Genetics shop, or my Adirondack Sugarman shop on seed canary.

  • Out of 13 beans, 11 popped. Out of 11, 10 made it to sexing.  I wound up with only 2 females, and I selected 3 males. They are all currently in the breeding tent waiting to get their pretty little flowers pollen puffed.
